



SHOW #1 OUTDOORS OHIO MAKES DEBUT WITH ROUNDUP OF OUTDOORS (debut Aug. 3, 2006): A general roundup of the outdoor fun that D’Arcy and Laura Egan will experience in the weeks to come on the Outdoors Ohio television show. Featured is Pat Dailey, who sings the theme song, at his South Bass Island home.



SHOW #2 FRANK SCALISH AND CLEVELAND HARBOR BASS FISHING
(debut Aug. 10, 2006): Pro bass fisherman Frank Scalish of Cleveland Heights, Ohio joined D’Arcy Egan to show off an unsung fishery for big largemouth bass – Cleveland Harbor. As the jets land and take off at Burke Lakefront Airport, the guys pitch plastic lizards, cast topwater lures and catch surprising numbers of largemouth bass in the shadow of downtown Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.






SHOW #3 FISHING SUNNYBROOK TROUT CLUB IN SANDUSKY
(debut Aug. 17, 2006): D’Arcy and Laura Egan cast dry flies to the pristine Blue Ribbon section of Cold Creek that flows through Sunnybrook Trout Club near Sandusky. Club owner Doug Lamb and noted fly fisher Terry Lambacher of Rocky River join them to catch trophy rainbow trout on a beautiful summer afternoon.


SHOW #4 GUIDE JERRY ABELE, SINGER PAT DAILEY AND FISH CLEANING
(debut Aug. 24): Noted Lake Erie fishing guide Jerry Abele of Headhunter Fishing Adventures in Marblehead, Ohio will show D’Arcy Egan his tactics for catching trophy walleye from the shallow reefs of Western Lake Erie. Noted singer Pat Dailey, the bard of Put-In-Bay on South Bass Island, will talk about his days on Lake Erie, his love of big-water fishing and will sing the theme song of Outdoors Ohio. John Streng of Bay’s Edge Fishing Cleaning in Port Clinton OH dazzles D’Arcy with his fillet knife.

SHOW #5 TRAPSHOOTING AT OSTA GROUNDS; NEW ITHACA GUN WORKS
(debut Aug. 31, 2006): Trapshooting took a new turn in Ohio with the construction of the Ohio Trapshooting Association’s new range at the Cardinal Center Campgrounds in Marengo, Ohio, just north of Columbus. Legendary trapshooter Drew Waller and D’Arcy Egan will break a few clay targets and take a look at the new facility. Outdoors Ohio heads to Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to visit the new home of Ithaca Gun Works, a company that had been building classic shotguns for more than a century in Ithaca, New York.



SHOW #6 FRANK SCALISH AND BASS FROM THE LOWER GRAND RIVER
(debut Sept. 7, 2006): D’Arcy Egan and bass fishing pro Frank Scalish of Cleveland Heights, Ohio are at it again, teaming to reveal another secret bass fishing hole in northern Ohio. This time the guys head to the marinas along the lower Grand River in Lake County, just east of Cleveland, to connect with largemouth bass. Scalish, a star on the Bassmasters Elite Series trail, provides expert advice on the tactics of pitching and flipping lures to catch trophy largemouth bass.
SHOW #7 GUIDE RON JOHNSON AND DEEP WATER WALLEYE, TROUT
(debut Sept. 14, 2006): Fishing Guide Ron Johnson of Grand River shows off the Lake Erie trolling equipment that helps him to find success from spring through fall. D’Arcy and Laura Egan catch lots of walleye and add a few bonus steelhead trout.






SHOW #8 GOOSE HUNTING WITH THE HONKER BONKER GUYS
(debut Sept. 21, 2006): Goose hunting with Honker Bonkers Guide Service in Portage County. D’Arcy Egan gets in on an early-season goose hunt with John Beckwith, DeWayne Knight and Brian Laux, listening to their talented goose calling and experiencing an outstanding morning in the field.
SHOW #9 THE CHIEF CATCHES WALLEYE OFF PORT CLINTON
(debut Sept. 28, 2006): Capt. Rick Unger of Chiefs Charters pinpoints schools of the amazing 2003 year class of Lake Erie walleye in the shallow waters near Port Clinton, Ohio. D’Arcy and Laura Egan have fun catching lots of walleye, and a few sheepshead, too.
SHOW #10 THE ULTIMATE FISHING POND WITH MARK CAHLIK
(debut Oct. 5): D’Arcy Egan experiences the ultimate pond fishing experience with Mark Cahlik of Mark I Charters and Bay’s Edge Fish Cleaning. The anglers catch a mixed bag of largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, crappies, panfish and even large catfish on cane poles, spinning tackle and live bait.












SHOW #11 CANADA’S SMALLMOUTH BASS WITH GUIDE BOBBY BROWN JR.
(debut Oct. 9): D’Arcy and Laura Egan head to the Canadian waters of Lake Erie to fish for trophy smallmouth bass with Laura’s little brother, Bob Brown Jr., a veteran fishing guide. Brown is a summertime guide on Western Lake Erie and is a saltwater fishing guide in Marathon, Fla. in winter. Videographer Wes Morgan joins the anglers to give viewers a look at Outdoors Ohio’s talented cameraman.



SHOW #12 WILD GAME CHEF ANDY EMRISKO IS COOKING
(debut Oct. 16): Talented wild game chef Andy Emrisko of Litchfield, Ohio, a former Cleveland fishing guide and owner of Old World Foods, opens his Cleveland kitchen to D’Arcy Egan. Emrisko prepares delicious meals with venison, pheasant and walleye all harvested in Ohio.



SHOW # 13 WALLEYE GUIDE JERRY ABELE HEADS FOR ERIE ROCK PILES
(debut Oct. 23): Fishing guide Jerry Abele of Marblehead, Ohio heads for his favorite shallow-water Western Lake Erie haunts with D’Arcy Egan to catch some trophy walleye. The King of the Rock Piles, Abele has a stellar reputation for drift-and-cast fishing excellence.



SHOW # 14 LAURA AND D’ARCY EGAN AND LAKE ERIE YELLOW PERCH
(debut Oct. 30): Laura and D’Arcy Egan kick back for a low-key day of yellow perch fishing on Western Lake Erie. With their boat, The Perfect Drift, anchored near the Bass Islands, they round up the ingredients for a delightful perch dinner.



SHOW #15 PENNSYLVANIA SMALLMOUTH BASS ALONG THE ALLEGHENY
(debut Nov. 6): D’Arcy and Laura Egan slip out of Ohio and into Western Pennsylvania to test the tributaries of the Allegheny River with local tournament bass fishermen Eric Heil, a police officer in Oil City, Pa., and Mike Kline, a fireman in Franklin, Pa. They race down the river in boats with jet drives to cast the crystal clear waters of French Creek for smallmouth bass. The show wraps up with a close look at the cormorant problem on Western Lake Erie.
SHOW # 16 BIRD DOGS AND PHEASANTS WITH DOG MAN STEVE BORECKY
(debut Nov. 13): D’Arcy and Laura Egan head to the farm fields of Medina County for a day of chasing ring-necked pheasants with talented bird dog trainer Steve Borecky of Westlake, Ohio.






SHOW #17 ARTIST ADAM GRIMM; WILDLIFE CHIEF STEVE GRAY
(debut Nov. 20): D’Arcy Egan visits with nationally known wildlife artist Adam Grimm of Elyria, the youngest artist to ever win the prestigious Federal Duck Stamp competition. Egan joins Adam and his father, Len, in a Sandusky Bay duck marsh on a morning hunt. To wrap up the show Chief Steve Gray of the Ohio Division of Wildlife provides D’Arcy Egan an overview of Ohio’s fishing, hunting and outdoors.

SHOW #18 SIZZLING STEELHEAD TROUT WITH JEFF LISKAY AND FRIENDS
(debut Nov. 27): Steelhead trout fishing experts Jeff Liskay of North Olmsted, Bob Schmidt of Painesville and John Rhoades of Rocky River show D’Arcy and Laura Egan some of their favorite stretches of cold, chilly waters for big trout. They find success on Conneaut Creek in the northeast corner of Ohio.



SHOW #19 WATERFOWL HUNTING WITH PORT CLINTON’S BOB SWEENEY
(debut Dec. 4): The ducks are flying for D’Arcy Egan and Bob Sweeney, a veteran waterfowl hunter from Port Clinton, Ohio. The sportsmen, along with Sweeney’s Labrador retriever, Henry, share a blind in the tradition-rich Sandusky Bay region.



SHOW #20 SCOUTING FOR DEER; A VISIT TO THE TAXIDERMIST
(debut Dec. 11): D’Arcy Egan hits the deer woods with Chris Paradise of Mossy Oak Brand Camo. Paradise shows how he has developed a northeastern Ohio woodlots and farm fields for white-tailed deer and ducks, and how to pick the perfect spot for placing a hunting stand. Port Clinton, Ohio taxidermist Jim Wendt of Jim’s Taxidermy wraps up the show with tips on taking care of a trophy buck that is worthy of hanging on the wall.
