D'Arcy's been the outdoor writer for the Cleveland Plain Dealer since 1978
In 1965 D'Arcy started his career in journalism writing for the weekly, Parma Post.
By 1967 he was sports editor for the Coshocton Tribune.
In 1968 he became the managing editor of the daily, Medina County Gazette.
In 1972 D'Arcy was on staff as a sportswriter with the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
D'Arcy left the PD in 1976 to work as publicity director for Northfield Park.
In 1978 he came home to the Plain Dealer as the outdoor columnist and is still enjoying a great beat.
